BEATS is basically something to do while you listen to your MP3's. Symbols representing the PSP buttons fly onto screen from 3 directions and you press the correct one when its in the circle and are then graded on accuracy. Its simple and fun.The beats are not entirely accurate with the music. It all depends on your song choice. Some songs are near perfect and you can actually press the buttons to the beat (like Wallflowers - One Headlight). Other songs just appear to throw the symbols at you at random times. Rock songs appear to be great with the beats. Alternative/Metal songs with lots of distortion seem to be bad.
For the price though, this game is an easy recommendation. You wont ever run out of songs to play, and listening to you own music while also playing a game is a great way to kill some time.
