The first Spectobes game was a fun concept, and I was surprised when a second one was coming out. I automatically pre ordered it. The game has a very neat concept, where you dig up fossils on different planets, then bring them back to life to battle the oncoming threat of the Krawl, who want to devour the Nanairo planetary system. I find the digging of fossils and the minerals that are feed to the Spectrobes to be very addictive, but at the same time, very time consuming on some planets where you have to first get rid off mud, lava, etc. It can be frusterating to people wanting to quickly level up their Spectrobes from the time needed to get certain minerals. The Spectrobes come in 3 forms. Child, who accompany you to find more minerals and fossils. Adult form, which you feed in the incubator to get stronger. Adults fight the Krawl that you encounter in vortex's around different planets. The ones after adults are Evolved who are superior in fighting skills and stats. The cinematics and camera angling has vastly improved since the last game which I am very impressed with. The game has a nice selection of different Spectrobes to train and battle. I recommend it to anyone who like games that have real time battles, with some RPG effects in leveling up. If you like Pokemon you will most definatly like the some what odd creations of the game Spectrobes. It is truely a game worthy of appreciation and respect.
